Welcome to the most troublesome part of a flow-tools implementation: the Perl module. Perl is popular for quickly creating reporting tools and web interfaces. One of the most user-friendly flow-reporting tools, FlowScan, is built on Perl, but unfortunately, the Perl module for working with flow files, Cflow.pm, is difficult to install correctly. This isn't because of Perl but because flow collectors all have different on-disk storage formats. Your Cflow.pm installation must know how to read flow-tools flow files.
