So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are being adopted in various applications that require deployment for continuous operations in inhospitable terrains, constrained space, or challenging environments. The features that make the WSN the preferred choice for such applications are its low cost, ad hoc deployment, rapid installation, low power consumption, ease of use, distributed operation, and small sensor size [1]. The number of devices deployed in a typical WSN for any particular application may vary from a few hundred to thousands.
