I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

MAC-Spoofing ist das, was passiert, wenn ein Angreifer seine MAC-Adresse so ändert, das sie der eines anderen Geräts im Netzwerk entspricht. Es ermöglicht einem Angreifer, die Hardware, mit der er arbeitet, als die Hardware eines anderen auszugeben – die des Chefs beispielsweise.
Durch Fälschung einer MAC-Adresse kann sich der Angreifer als ein zugelassenes Netzwerkgerät ausgeben und andere auf diese Weise davon überzeugen, dass es in Ordnung sei, ihm Daten zu schicken oder von ihm Daten entgegenzunehmen. Hat jemand die MAC-Adresse des Chefs gefälscht, kann dieser Angreifer den Switch dazu bringen, ihm Daten zu senden, die nur der Chef sehen sollte.
