Feminist thoughts are available in the political domain since the eighteenth-century, but as a political ideology, it received acceptance during the twentieth-century and is hence considered a part of contemporary political thought. The term ‘feminist’ was first used as a medical term to describe either the feminization of men or the masculinization of women.
