Kuryr and Neutron provide advanced network functions to containerized workloads through libnetworks. This project's goal is to try and prevent the reinvention of networking for containers running on OpenStack. For example, the Magnum project uses its own networking and abstraction layer to provide network services to containers it orchestrates. Kuryr uses the current abstraction layer and hard work that was put into Neutron and provides production grade networking to containers. Kuryr aims to be the integration into Neutron for container services, not a separate networking service.
