So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Real-life use cases for Edge Computing
To better understand some of the many uses for Cloud Edge Computing, here are some possible use cases that have real-life impacts:
- Autonomous vehicles and smart cities: These applications collect telemetry data in real time. When IoT is used in vehicles and smart cities, they are extremely intolerant to high latency and require high bandwidth to satisfy the amount of streaming data being passed back to processing elements. Split second decisions are required and are made based on data being generated locally.
