It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The first few years of the 21st century saw a shift toward commodity computing platforms—small, powerful, resilient servers usually clustered together using OS-based clusterware—to provide just the right amount of computing power on an as-needed basis to the most crucial database applications.
