Planning your Custom Fields

In BCM, you can create new fields for business contacts, accounts, opportunities, or business projects and add them to a tab. You can also choose the column location where the groups and fields are displayed on the User-Defined Fields tab. After you create them, you can edit, move, or remove your custom fields.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Although adding a field to your BCM database is not a hard thing to do, it is something that you should think about and plan.
