I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 15: POINT-TO-POINT ENCRYPTION (P2PE)
The P2PE programme covers payment products that ensure the encryption of account data at the point of first entry (i.e. at a point-of-interaction device) through to its subsequent processing at a payment service provider.12 Certification may apply to an entire end-to-end solution offered by a P2PE solution provider or to the individual components that make up a solution: P2PE applications, PTS devices, decryption services and key-management services. Individual validated components may be combined to form a bespoke solution.
Use of a validated P2PE solution may simplify PCI DSS compliance for a merchant that will likely qualify to use SAQ P2PE for that payment channel.
