CHAPTER 1Application Environment
This chapter starts you on the path to learn about the PeopleSoft ERP application. This introduction will help you understand how the Human Resource Modules (HRM) are laid out and give you an idea of their functionality. Each organization has a different set of modules, versions, and implementation. This chapter does not try to outline all of the possibilities; it only introduces you, the reader, to one of the several set of modules available. The purpose of this is to give you a starting point to learn to maintain and customize within PeopleSoft. As a reader you can use your company’s specifics to learn to develop in the ERP environment.
