I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 9PeopleSoft Query
PeopleSoft delivers a reporting tool called Query. It is a user-friendly tool for non-technical individuals to retrieve data without knowing how to use SQL (Structured Query Language). This tool can be set up two ways. Some users can have access to create Query reports, while others can only run the queries. Determining how to set up the tool will depend on your environment.
The individual creating the query will have to have basic knowledge about the table structures. This will enable them to pull the correct data for their query. The tool will guide them through joining two or more tables and formatting the data to their specifications. The tool also helps users avoid creating bad queries or Cartesian joins, but queries ...
