This chapter will give you a through understanding of PeopleSoft Pages, how to modify delivered PeopleSoft pages, and how to create them from scratch. We will look at each of the elements that can be placed on a page from aesthetic controls such as static text to data entry controls, and demonstrate how to create your own customized page to accept data into a record. The PeopleSoft page is the main functionality in the PeopleSoft developer’s coding bag of tricks. Once you have an understanding of pages you can build on your skills in later chapters to become a proficient PeopleSoft developer.
