Perturbation Theories for
Molecular Fluids
The extension of integral equation and integral equation perturbation theories to
molecular fluids was discussed in Chapter 4. Here, after outlining the general frame-
work of the free energy perturbation theories for fluids with anisotropic interactions,
several approaches to obtain the properties of different kinds of reference hard-body
molecular fluids are described. The performance of these theories is discussed for
