Curtis et al. (2001) analyzed the phase diagram of aqueous lysozyme solutions
approximating the protein molecules by HS with sticky SW sites distributed on the
surface, and using the Wertheim TPT1 for the fluid and a free volume model for
the crystal. The effective potential depth was obtained by equating the experimen-
tal osmotic second virial coefficient with the one calculated with the angle-averaged
Mayer function. For the systems studied, double bonding between two molecules was
not allowed. The theory was used to correlate the experimental data of the lysozyme
