Updating pfSense firmware
This recipe describes how to update the pfSense firmware.
Getting ready
Let's be sure to make a backup of our current configuration file before we proceed with a complete system upgrade.
How to do it...
- Browse to System | Firmware.
- Click the Auto Update tab.
- Click Invoke Auto Upgrade.
- Observe the download status.
- Once the download is complete, pfSense will upgrade itself and reboot.
