Why It's Worth A Photograph

The headquarters for the United Nations is located on First Avenue between 42nd and 48th streets on 17 acres of international territory. The impressive glass and steel Secretariat Building soars 39 stories overlooking the East River while the street side is lined by flags from every member country. The complex offers modern architecture with great foreground elements while the grounds have a number of interesting, internationally flavored sculptures. The interior of the General Assembly building has a multitude of artwork to enjoy both on the tour and in the public areas when you are not taking photos.
