Elements lets you create several sizes of pages to use in a bound book of photos—a popular gift item. Go to Create → Projects → Photo Book, and you'll see several different ways of creating photo books with Elements:

• Print with Local Printer. If you want to print your book at home or take or send it to a print shop, this option lets you create a standard photo book that you can save as a PDF, which is the preferred format for most print shops. The steps for creating a book this way are described in detail after this list.

• Create Photo Books at Shutterfly. In the Organizer, you select the photos you want to include and then click this button. Elements uploads your images to Shutterfly, and you choose the kind of book you want and use the wizard on their website to complete and order it. • Create Digital Scrapbooks at Shutterfly. This works exactly the same way as creating a Shutterfly photo book. While Shutterfly's photo books put your images into their templates, digital scrapbooks have blank pages. You create pages of your own design on your computer, then upload your finished work to Shutterfly.

• Create a Photo Book—Kodak Gallery. This works almost exactly like the "Print with Local Printer" option. You get a chance to select your title-page photo, though, and when you're done, you can upload your completed book file to the Kodak Gallery for printing.
