Some of your designs may use electromechanical devices. This chapter covers the most common devices that include switches, relays, solenoids, motors, and servos. Most of the design effort involves understanding how the devices operate and paying attention to the specifications on each device’s data sheet. The circuits are simple, and the more common configurations are covered here.
