So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

8.1 Introduction to Application Chapters of the Book
This chapter is the first in the second half of the book, which focuses on applications, providing an introduction to urban, landscape, inland water, coastal, and atmospheric remote sensing. It gives an insight into what’s possible, although, within this book, we can only scratch the surface of the applications. Chapter 13 will describe where you can go to find more information and progress to the next stage of your learning.
