The following data function tabulation and calculation tables have been provided to facilitate easy processing of function point counts. You may want to recreate these tables in Excel to automate certain complexity, FP count, and other sum totals.
Once you decide the complexity of an ILF/EIF after referring to Table B.1, you then have to assign the actual FP contribution (count) to the ILF/EIF based on the complexity factor. Two separate tables, one each for ILF and EIF, provide the exact FP contribution for each category of complexity: simple, average, and high.
