I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The source code is the heart or engine of the web application, and it must be properly constructed from a security perspective. Your role as an application security expert is to make sure that developers really respect the security patterns. After reading that, you're probably saying But Gus, I'm not good at programming. You will see my response to this later in this chapter, but for the time being, rest assured that I will do my best to help you progress in your career.
