I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 4. The JavaScript Runtime Environment
The first three chapters of this book have discussed the semantics of the JavaScript language and Netscape's server-side implementation. The first chapter took a look at how it worked, where it can be interpreted, and some of the features it had to offer. You saw how JavaScript can be used to interact with other objects on a page and what security features are in place.
The second chapter looked specifically at the details of the language. You learned how the operators, data types, variables, loops, conditionals, and functions worked.
