It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Auf der Suche nach Material, das uns bei der Spieleprogrammierung in Python nützlich sein könnte, gibt es einiges. Es muss nicht mal ein aufwendiges Zusatzmodul sein, um aus einer einfachen Python-Anwendung ein richtiges Spiel mit Grafik zu machen. Auch mit tkinter lässt sich das, was wir in diesem Kapitel programmieren, erreichen. Aber zum Teil nicht so elegant, außerdem hat tkinter in Sachen Spieleprogrammierung sonst nicht allzu viel zu bieten. Deshalb versuchen wir es hier mit einem ganz neuen Paket.
