So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter is all about what PL/SQL has to offer to those of us who administer databases and automate tasks—and it offers us a lot. PL/SQL can help us have easier jobs with less drudgery, leaving us more time for the more interesting, complex parts of our working lives.
