So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9Where to Go from Here
One of the goals of this book was to show the reader how the tools of regression analysis can be put to work on a wide scope of research topics and subject areas. Regression analysis is regularly applied to research in economics, political science, sociology, education, business, and the physical sciences, as well as other fields. It is a tool that can be applied in many creative ways. But it is also a tool that is often misused. Indeed, much of the criticism aimed at regression analysis can be traced to an irresponsible use of the methods discussed in this book.
