I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The third edition of Regression Basics is dedicated to the four most important teachers in my life.
Erma (“Frau”) Takeda
My high school German teacher. Frau was an amazing educator who made studying German fun and cool. She had a presence about her that made me and my fellow German Club members want to be closer to her. Frau made the world a significantly kinder place for all who knew her. She is greatly missed and still celebrated by the German Club she started nearly 50 years ago.
