I have been very fortunate in having worked for three very different client companies: the Co-operative Wholesale Company (a large UK retailer), American Express Europe Ltd and International Masters Publishers (a Scandinavian publishing company). In addition, I have worked in three market research agencies: Burke Market Research (a small Canadian agency), IPSOS RSL (the UK arm of an international full service agency) and Network Research (a mid-sized UK agency). Some of these companies are publicly owned, some privately owned. However, all have one thing in common – a customer-centric approach to business.
