3 SpringCore Architecture

This chapter will mainly introduce the instruction set and architecture design of the RISC-V architecture DSP core codenamed SpringCore. This core is the first RISC-V architecture DSP core developed by the project team. It is named SpringCore in the hope that it will be as full of vitality and vigorous as spring.

At the same time, a very important application scenario for SpringCore is new energy, with low carbon and environmental protection also being themes associated with spring. Based on this, the project team has planned a "Four Seasons" series of DSP cores, which, in addition to SpringCore, also includes SummerCore, AutumnCore, and WinterCore.
