I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
Open a Terminal to create a new project using cargo new pipes. Use VS Code to open the project directory and create a simple CSV file called cars.csv with the following content:
year,make,model1997,Ford,E3501926,Bugatti,Type 351971,Volkswagen,Beetle1992,Gurgel,Supermini
We are now going to parse this file and create a series of JSON objects from it.
