I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
This recipe is highly platform-specific; at the time of writing, cross-compiling Rust on platforms other than Linux is tricky. On macOS and Windows, you can use virtual machines with Hyper-V (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyper-v-on-windows/), VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/), or Parallels (https://www.parallels.com/), or rent a machine from your favorite cloud provider (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/).
The Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) on Windows 10 doesn't support Docker at the time of writing. There might be ways around this limitation, but we will leave the required tinkering to our readers.
