How to do it...

Follow these few steps to implement this recipe:

1. Run cargo new std-macros in Terminal (or PowerShell on Windows) and open the directory with Visual Studio Code. Then, create a a.txt file inside the project's src directory with the following content:

Hello World!

2. First, the default implementation of main() (in src/main.rs) already provides us with a macro call to println!:

fn main() {    println!("Hello, world!");}

3. We can extend the function by printing more. Insert the following after the println! macro call in the main() function:
