It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Event extraction
Event extraction expands on the NER establishing relationships around the entities detected. This can be used to make inferences on the relationship between two entities. Hence, there is an additional layer of semantic understanding to make sense of the document content.
