About the Author
Ira Winkler, CISSP, is chief security architect for Walmart, where he focuses on behavioral cybersecurity. He is also a member of the faculty of the University of Maryland Baltimore County Center for Cybersecurity. He is considered one of the world’s most influential security professionals, and has been named a “Modern Day James Bond” by the media. He did this by performing espionage simulations, where he used social engineering and espionage techniques to physically and technically “break into” some of the largest companies in the world and investigating crimes against them, and telling them how to cost effectively protect their information and computer infrastructure. Ira has been focusing on the human aspects of cybersecurity for more than three decades and has helped create and manage awareness programs for countless companies, from Fortune 1 to startups. He has lectured around the world on related topics and has been named a top speaker at countless events on six continents.
For his efforts, Ira received countless awards including the Hall of Fame award from the Information Systems Security Association.
