Once you decide on the topics you want to cover in your awareness program, you must choose how you want to communicate those topics to users. Many methods and tools are available to facilitate this communication, and your job is to determine which of those methods will work best for the organizational culture.
If an organization has people who work with desktop computers, for example, screen savers is likely one of your methods. If you’re working with a manufacturing environment and the workers have morning meetings before reporting to the shop floor, you will want to supplement the content covered in those meetings with content related to your awareness program. Expect to build on the communications tools already used and, possibly, introduce brand-new tools.
