I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing libpcap and Git
The libpcap package dependency does not come pre-installed on most systems, and the installation procedure is different for each operating system. Here we will cover the installation steps for libpcap and git for Ubuntu, Windows, and macOS. I highly recommend that you use Ubuntu or other Linux distributions for best results. Without libpcap, gopacket will not function, and git is required to fetch the gopacket dependency.
