Standard storage

When users don't specify the default storage class while creating a bucket, it will be considered as a Standard storage object. Objects created without a storage class in such a bucket are also listed as Standard Storage. If the bucket is located in a multiregional location, Standard storage is equivalent to Multi-Regional Storage and when the bucket is in a regional storage, it is considered to be in Regional storage.

Note that pricing will also happen accordingly. If it is equivalent to Multi regional storage, charges of Multi Regional storage will apply.

Now that we know about the different storage classes, let's understand the Life Cycle Management of an object in Cloud Storage.
