Object immutability

In Cloud Storage, when an object is uploaded, you cannot change it throughout its lifetime. The time between successful object upload and successful object delete is an object's lifetime. This essentially means that you cannot modify an existing object by appending some data to it or by truncating some data from it. However, you can overwrite the objects in Cloud storage. Note that the older version of the document will be accessible to the users until successful upload of the new version of the document.

A single particular object can only be updated or overwritten up to once per second.

So, now that we are aware of the basics of Cloud Storage, let's explore the Storage classes available in Cloud Storage.
