So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Enabling OAuth authentication with Spring Security
We can see a common theme among the external authentication providers examined over the next several chapters. Spring Security provides convenient wrappers around the provider integrations that are actually developed outside the Spring ecosystem.
In this vein, the Spring Social project (http://projects.spring.io/spring-social/) provides the underlying OAuth 2 provider discovery and request/response negotiation for the Spring Security OAuth 2 functionality.
