You should arrive at the rehearsal area at least 30 minutes prior to the rehearsal call, depending on how much work must be done to ready the area.
Besides arranging sets and props according to your preset diagram (see figure 9.1), check on working conditions. Sweep the stage and dust the rehearsal furniture, if necessary, and make whatever improvements you can in ventilation, temperature, and lighting.
