It’s easy to be so focused on the logistical side of stage management that you forget about the personal side of being a manager. Offering help via feedback and recommendations, showing appreciation in various ways, and welcoming opportunities to mentor others are all a part of the job that most professional stage managers are happy to do.
As stage manager, you will have little need to write extensive correspondence outside of daily reports and emails, but you will want to consider writing a letter to the next stage manager, critiques, and letters of recommendation.
