Das vorliegende Übungsbuch enthält Aufgaben und Lösungen zu den Themen deskriptive Statistik, Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung und schließende Statistik. Es behandelt die beschreibende Statistik ein- und zweidimensionaler Daten, elementare Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung, das Rechnen mit Zufallsvariablen und Zufallsvektoren, das Schätzen und Testen von Parametern sowie erste Schritte in die lineare Regression. Das Buch versteht sich als Begleittext zum Lehrbuch „Statistik – Grundlagen und Methoden“ von Stocker und Steinke [2017], ist aber auch unabhängig davon für Studierende geeignet, die sich mit dem Thema Statistik aktiv auseinander setzen wollen.
