This chapter explores the final part of the design and delivery of the learning cycle: the evaluation of learning interventions. Whilst evaluation is positioned as the final step in the cycle, it is important to not overlook this crucial stage, as this is where we attempt to measure the value that has been generated through the learning and development interventions. Readers will remember that we already considered in previous chapters that evaluation is not just an activity that occurs at the end of the learning intervention, but that we also need to consider it when developing learning objectives and designing the learning intervention itself.
