A diagram of a model showing relationships among major components of the strategic-management process. Each chapter of this text is organized around this model and is represented in the diagram. The current chapter is highlighted in the diagram. The components/chapters are presented in sequence and are grouped into three areas: strategy formulation (Chapters 2 through 6), strategy implementation (Chapters 7 and 8), and strategy evaluation (Chapter 9). Chapters 10 and 11 are present throughout the entire process.
