So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

‘Syntax Error.’ That was my first memory of coding back when computers had 16KB of memory to play with. Having written a few hundred lines of code with my six-year-old sister over a number of hours, we typed in the command of promise, ‘RUN’, and then were delivered the crushing blow of a mistaken entry. The computer language was ‘BASIC’ by name and basic by nature and thus it did not highlight which line (or lines) contained the problem.
