Spec Screenplay Format
When you write a spec screenplay, it has to look like a professional screenplay. Professional screenwriters write a screenplay that can be called a “master scene” script. A master scene script offers a vivid description of action within each scene, but it does not break down specific camera angles or shots. You identify each new scene and set up all of the characters, dialogue, and action, but you won’t write camera or technical directions. Save all that for the director.
