It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5. Enterprise Information Architecture: Component Model
In this chapter, we introduce the Component Model of the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Reference Architecture. Our goal is to show a complete Component Model; thus, we discuss it in a wider context. However, the areas of focus are the information-centric components:

• Master Data Management (MDM) Services
• Data Services
• Content Services
• Analytical Services
• Enterprise Information Integration (EII) Services
• IT Service & Compliance Management Services
The scope regarding the previous data domains is to define a complete Component Model that covers metadata, master data, analytical data, operational data, and Unstructured Data.
