I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Micro Editing for Grammar and Usage
At first glance, micro editing may not seem as important or as fun as macro editing. Instead of dealing with the big, important problems of a story, micro editing focuses on checking for correct grammar and usage, making the mechanics conform to local and wire-service stylebooks, fixing spelling errors and typos, and tightening the wording.
Although many might consider micro editing to be an obsession with picky, little details, if the details aren’t correct, they distract from what is important—the information the writer is trying to get across. The writer and editor both should try to make sure the mechanics are correct so that instead of becoming a distraction, the mechanics are invisible ...
