A book about bat files? Why? Didn’t the Aztecs use Batch? Isn’t it the Betamax of scripting languages? You should be writing a book about a newer, sexier coding language instead of a Model T repair manual.

I wish that I could dismiss out of hand such protestations as simply the negativism of nattering nabobs, but this is a sentiment I feel compelled to address.
