The rehearsal room is the space where the director and actors will develop the work in full collaboration. As a costume supervisor, you want to have one ear on the rehearsal room throughout the process of sourcing your costumes, as so much can be learnt and observed by prudently dropping into see how things are progressing day by day during this almost sacred time in the creative process.

Before the first rehearsal, you may be required to provide the ‘rehearsal costume’.
