Most people, if asked what a costume supervisor does, would say something vague about making costumes or dressing actors. They might even admit, ‘I have no idea.’ Rebecca hits the nail on the head when she says in Chapter 1 that even within many theatres themselves, the work of costume supervisors and their teams is a bit of a mystery. With this book, I hope Rebecca can enlighten those who don’t know and inspire those who want to know.
